Congratulations on getting your Infinity! You've probably taken it out of the box, and now you're wondering what to do next. This guide for home users contains a few handy tips to get you off to a smooth start.

Your Infinity Password
When your Infinity arrives it may have already gone through an initial setup process, and have an administrator password in place.
If your Infinity asks you for a password the first time you turn it on, the password is: Infinity
We highly recommend that you change the password for your administrator account, and create child accounts for any children that will be using this Infinity.
Follow these steps to change your password:
Click or tap the Windows button, tap the Settings gear icon
Tap or click Accounts, and then tap or click Sign-in options
Tap or click Change your password and follow the instructions

Power On!
When you first turn the Infinity on, make sure it's plugged into the wall before holding the power button down for a couple of seconds. It only needs to be plugged in the first time - this is to ensure that it does not turn on during shipping. If you haven't found them yet, all the ports (including charging) are located on the left side of the laptop.
Create a Microsoft Family Account
With a Family Account you can implement parental controls and monitor your child's activity on their device and the Internet. Head on over to the official Microsoft page to get started. We've also included an extra "how to add family members" help article, just in case.
Login to Office365 for the First Time
Every student and teacher in Australia receives free access to Office365 from Microsoft, through their school email address. Learn how to take advantage of this generous offer.
Install Some Fun Apps
Now that all the boring stuff is out of the way, why not put some apps on your new Infinity so that your family can get straight into it. We've linked to a few fun and educational apps for coding, painting, school work and exploring. Minecraft Education Edition is preinstalled and ready to go! Be aware that some apps may incur additional costs.
