In this short seven step guide, we'll take you through the process of adding your Office 365 (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, One Note) details to the Infinity:One.

This guide is suited for one-to-one device distributions, by ensuring students remain logged in to their Infinity:One and their work remaining on the device and syncing to the internet - allowing children to go home and pick up where they left-off at school.

NOTE: It is really important to note that once a user adds Office 365 credentials, the user will remain logged in - until he/she logs out from within any Office 365 application.

This will also take up 1 of the students 5 active devices the student can use Office 365 on. You can always remove a device manually by following these instructions.

For this guide - we will log into OneNote, an awesome tool to capture all student work.

You have two pathways to sign-in

The first is when you open the application (a brand new Infinity:One or fresh install) and you are requested to sign-in before entering the application. The second is when you are already in the application.

PATHWAY 1: FIRST OPEN OF OFFICE 365

STEP 1: Open the OneNote application. When you open the application for the first time - you are greeted with this prompt, select SIGN IN:

STEP 2: Enter the username, typically this is in the form of [email protected]. Select NEXT.

STEP 3: You will be taken to the Department's login screen. Enter your username and password only, typically this is in the form of jane.smith1 and then select LOG IN.

STEP 4: If your log in credentials are correct you be logged into One Note. If you can't get past this point contact your School Administrator to see if their is an issue with your login.

STEP 5: Now that you are in One Note you will see a nice little screen requesting your Product Key - don't worry! Just select the second option 'SIGN IN WITH AN ACTIVE ACCOUNT INSTEAD'

STEP 6: The Infinity:One will be added to your Office 365 list of active devices - you are provided with 5 devices.

STEP 7: After 20-30 seconds you will be prompted to sign-up for Office Automatic Updates, you can select ACCEPT.

Congratulations you will now be logged into all Office 365 applications and be able to sync your work between the Infinity:One and One Drive!

PATHWAY 2: OFFICE 365 ALREADY OPENED PREVIOUSLY

STEP 1: Open the OneNote application. When you open the application you should be greeted with this prompt, select SIGN IN WITH AN ACTIVE ACCOUNT INSTEAD:

STEP 2: Enter the username, typically this is in the form of [email protected]. Select NEXT.

STEP 3: You will be taken to the Department's login screen. Enter your username and password only, typically this is in the form of jane.smith1 and then select LOG IN.

STEP 4: The Infinity:One will be added to your Office 365 list of active devices - you are provided with 5 devices.
